How to Sow and Plant

Soak seeds in water for 24 hours before sowing to improve germination. Sow seeds about 1/8 inch deep in fertile, well-drained soil in spring after danger of frost has passed. Keep soil evenly moist until seedlings emerge

How to Grow

Plant in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil. Water regularly during establishment and reduce once plants are mature. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering. Cut back foliage in late autumn to tidy up and prepare for next season’s growth.

Tips

Avoid overly wet soil to prevent root rot. Consider growing in containers or raised beds if spread needs control, as Soapwort can reseed and spread vigorously in favorable conditions
