How to Sow and Plant

Cold stratify seeds in a moist paper towel sealed in a plastic bag in refrigeration for 4–6 weeks to improve germination. Sow in late winter to early spring. Sprinkle seeds on a well-draining seed mix and press lightly into the surface without covering, as they require light to germinate. Keep soil lightly moist until seedlings emerge.

How to Grow

Grow Saxifraga Fusca in fertile, well-drained rocky or sandy soil with partial shade to full sun. Water regularly to maintain even moisture without waterlogging. Transplant seedlings carefully when strong enough into beds or rock garden spaces
